<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp housing for microscopes having high heat radiation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The lamp housing 1 includes a halogen lamp 10, a light shielding plate 20 and an outer wall 30, and a cooling path R of a distance (y) is formed between the rear plate 21 of the light shielding plate 20 and the rear wall 31 of the outer wall 30. The cooling path R is also formed on the side (X direction) where the halogen lamp 10 is not attached of the lamp housing 1. Air inlets 38 are formed in two corner parts where the rear wall 31, the side wall and the lower wall 34 cross one another. A slit-like opening 33a as a hole straight in a direction Z is formed in the upper wall 33. The heat from the halogen lamp 10 is transmitted through the light shielding plate 20, then, the heat flows into the lamp housing 1 through the air inlets 38, then, the heat is radiated with the air flow flowing out from the slit-like opening 33a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
