PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the clogging of a spray nozzle with gas hydrate. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a producing vessel 1 to produce gas hydrate by spraying water through a spray nozzle 17 into a stock gas and a water circulation pump 18 to extract water from the producing vessel 1 and supply to the spray nozzle 17. The spray nozzle 17 has a coaxial turbine 21 rotatably attached to the tip end of a cylindrical nozzle body 20, the tip end of the nozzle body 20 is gradually expanded toward the conical face of the turbine 21, a plurality of blades 25 are formed on the conical face, and the turbine 21 is driven by a rotating means. The water sprayed from the spray nozzle is widely dispersed by the rotation of the turbine 21, and the clogging with gas hydrate can be prevented because the apparatus is free from water-spraying fine pores and a fine gyration path to generate gyrating flow.
