PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam hot water supply system with a compact size, capable of preventing leak of hot water. SOLUTION: This system comprises a heat exchanger 11 generating hot water H by heating cold water C with the heat of steam S from an external steam supply source VA, a cold water passage 12 guiding the cold water C from an external water supply source WA to the heat exchanger 11, a water-hot water mixing valve 14 mixing part of the cold water C derived from a branch point A of the cold water passage 12 with the hot water H from the heat exchanger 11 to generate a water-hot water mixture, a check valve 35 provided in the cold water passage 12 between the branch point A and the heat exchanger 11, and a hot water supply port valve 22 provided in a hot water supply passage 21 deriving hot water M from the mixing valve 14.
