PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a storage case which makes a container hard to tumble, enables an inside view from outside, makes a bundle of thread stored inside hard to get smeared, and makes its design excellent. SOLUTION: The storage case includes a lower container 2 with an upper opening and an upper container 3 with a lower opening. The lower container includes a storage part capable of receiving an article. The upper container includes a space to be put over the article received in the lower container. The lower opening rim of the upper container can be inserted into or put over the opening of the lower container so that it can be put over the lower container. A tab strip or a draw-out part is opened on the upper part of the upper container. In addition, one or both of the upper and lower containers is transparent or semitransparent. A protrusion protruding inwardly upward is provided at the center of the bottom of the lower container.
