PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus arousing the interest of a player in a game. SOLUTION: The game apparatus includes: a numerical value expression means 402 for sequentially expressing numerical values along a predetermined sequence with time; a normal lottery means 510 and a special lottery means 610 for performing internal lottery for determining the winning or losing based on a numerical value from the numerical value expression means 402 at a timing when a game ball passes through a gate; an open/close control means 635 for controlling the operation of an open/close mechanism for opening/closing the inlet of a machine lottery port according to the result of the internal lottery; and a machine lottery means 710 for determining winning of a game ball, when the game ball enters a specific area out of areas of the machine lottery port. The open/close control means 635 keeps the open/close mechanism open until predetermined conditions are met, when winning the internal lottery, and starts a big winning game when winning the machine lottery.
