PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary pad and an auxiliary pad sheet for an absorbent article, which prevents leakage backward efficiently by fitting to a buttock cleavage part without a gap, which is produced at low costs and which is compact and convenient to housing and carrying. SOLUTION: The auxiliary pad 2 for the absorbent article is made to abut on the buttock cleavage part to prevent the backward leakage of discharges, and the auxiliary pad sheet 1 is in a state of being folded in a shape which can be inserted to and held at the buttock cleavage part.
