PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elucidate a crystal structure of a thermostable thioredoxin peroxidase. SOLUTION: The crystal of the thermostable thioredoxin peroxidase is a homoicosamer and has each subunit forming a double ring structure obtained by stacking a ring structure composed of five dimers in which a dimer forms one unit.
