<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a sheet conveying path for conveying a sheet after passing through a fixing device is arranged near a process cartridge, and where heat accumulated in the sheet conveying path and between the sheet conveying path and the fixing device is prevented from being transferred to the process cartridge so as to restrain the temperature rise of the process cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: A heat insulating member such as a cavity part on a grasping part arranged at the upper part of the process cartridge or an air course shutoff member between the toner container of the process cartridge and the fixing device is arranged between the sheet conveying path and the process cartridge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
