<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for running a fuel cell and a fuel cell system prevented from being deteriorated in the power generation performance of the fuel cell when it is started in a below-freezing atmosphere by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit determines whether the temperature of the fuel cell (FC internal temperature) at a STEP 3 is higher than the freezing point of generated water accompanied by power generation or not when an IG switch is turned off at a STEP 1. If the FC internal temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature, it moves to a STEP 4 to adjust a power generation condition so that the FC internal temperature is raised, turns on an alarm at STEP 5, continues the power generation until the FC internal temperature rises to the predetermined temperature or higher at a STEP 7, and then stops the power generation at a STEP 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
