<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable natural stereoscopic observation, by automatically adjusting the view point position of a view point image constituting the stereoscopic image, in response to a stereoscopic display device in use and reducing crosstalks at the observation of the stereoscopic image. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image generating program includes a first information acquisition step S102 for acquiring first size information, with respect to the size of a first viewpoint image from a plurality of first viewpoint images and parallax information, with respect to a parallax between the first viewpoint images; a second information acquisition step S103 of acquiring device information, with respect to the stereoscopic display device used for viewing the stereoscopic image; a viewpoint determination step S104 of determining a plurality of viewpoints, corresponding to the stereoscopic display device on the basis of the first size information, parallax information and the device information; and image generation steps S105, S106 for generating a plurality of second viewpoint images, corresponding to a plurality of determined viewpoints by using the first viewpoint image and generating the stereoscopic image by using a plurality of second viewpoint images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
