<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide type portable information terminal in which the strength of a slid state between a body and a cover is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The portable information terminal 1 comprises: the body 2 provided with an operation part 212; and the cover 3 superposed to the operation part 212 side of the body 2 and connected so as to be freely slide along the operation part 212, and the terminal is constituted so as to be held at a closed state in which the cover 3 is superposed to the body 2 or held at an opened state in which the cover 3 is slid from the body 2. Since an engaging hole 320 is formed on either end of the body 2 and the cover 3, and locking parts 416, 424 to be engaged with the engaging hole 320 when the cover 3 is slid from the body 2 and to lock the opened state, are formed on the other end, the cover 3 or the body 2, the locking parts 416, 424 formed on the other end are engaged with the engaging hole 320 formed on the either end part of the body 2 and the cover 3 when the cover 3 is slid from the body 2, the body 2 and the cover 3 are fixed on the opened state, and the strength of the slid state is secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
