<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system in a method for removing hydrogen sulfide (H<SB>2</SB>S) from a gas to be treated and containing the hydrogen sulfide by using an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide (NaOH). <P>SOLUTION: The control system comprises the following first to third steps and controls the stroke of a transportation pump of the aqueous solution of the sodium hydroxide (NaOH) by a specific control means: the first step for bringing the gas to be treated into contact with the aqueous solution of the sodium hydroxide in an absorbing column to convert the hydrogen sulfide to sodium hydrosulfide (NaSH) and to obtain an aqueous phase containing the sodium hydrosulfide; the second step for introducing the aqueous phase containing the sodium hydrosulfide to the exterior of the absorbing column of the first step, and bringing the aqueous phase into contact with the aqueous solution of the sodium hydroxide to convert the sodium hydrosulfide to sodium sulfide (Na<SB>2</SB>S) and to obtain an aqueous solution containing the sodium sulfide; and the third step for burning the aqueous phase containing the sodium sulfide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
