PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably reproduce information data recorded in an optical disk by changing an equalizer property of a RF amplifier circuit in accordance with surrounding temperature of an optical pickup at the time of reproduction of information data recorded in the optical disk. SOLUTION: At the time of start of reproduction of the optical disk, an adjusted value of the equalizer corresponding to surrounding temperature of the optical pickup at the time of start of reproduction of the optical disk is read out of adjusted values of a plurality of equalizers previously set for surrounding temperature of the optical pickup, the adjusted value of the equalizer of the RF amplifier circuit is set. During reproduction of the optical disk, an adjusted value of the equalizer corresponding to surrounding temperature of the optical pickup during reproduction of the optical disk is read out of adjusted values of a plurality of equalizers previously set for surrounding temperature of the optical pickup, and the adjusted value of the equalizer of the RF amplifier circuit is changed.
