PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable presentation and retrieval of information about an off-line disk for a user and to enable creation of a new disk by combining individual programs of a plurality of disk data, in a system controlling a large amount of disk data. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a disk control information creation means creating an off-line disk, a disk data duplication means duplicating disk data, a disk information database creation means creating the disk information database for controlling these off-line disk and duplicated disk data, a disk information database display means which can present information in this disk information database to the user, a disk identification information setting means registering identification information for identifying individual disk in the disk information database, and a disk information retrieval means retrieving a disk fitted to arbitrary conditions from this disk information database.
