PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden on a server that provides content. SOLUTION: A content delivery server, which causes a user terminal acquiring content to set the time for requesting acquisition of the content, includes a content providing means for providing the content required by the user terminal; and a content information setting means for setting content information consisting of a standard content switching time for presenting the user terminal with the next content obtained by updating the content and time-width information for dispersing the time that the user terminal acquires the next content. The user terminal has a content acquisition time setting means for setting the time for acquiring the next content based on the content information; and a content acquisition means for acquiring the next content at the time set by the content acquisition time setting means.
