PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly set a warp line on the surface of a virtual cubic model. SOLUTION: A virtual pattern paper creation apparatus includes a cutting line setting part 22 that, in accordance with operating instructions from a user, sets a cutting line on a virtual clothing model created within a three-dimensional space in accordance with operating instructions from the user, thereby dividing the virtual clothing model into a plurality of pattern paper regions R; a warp line setting part 23 that sets a warp line Lg on the pattern paper regions R in accordance with operating instructions from the user; and an expanding part 24 that creates virtual pattern paper by expanding the pattern paper regions R into a two-dimensional plane in such a manner that the warp line Lg set by the warp line setting part 23 becomes rectilinear.
