PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that luminance unevenness is generated owing to a curing shrinkage phenomenon of an adhesive bonding a clip member and an extension part together. SOLUTION: In an optical controller constituted by spacing out and arranging a first substrate 102 with a first transparent electrode 102a and a second substrate 103 with a second transparent electrode 103a, sealing liquid crystal 107 in their gap with a frame-shaped seal member 105, providing the extension part 103b to the second substrate 103, extending and arranging the second transparent electrode 103c at the extension part 103b, and bonding the second transparent electrode 103c and an external connection member 108 with a bonding member 110 for fixation, resins 13 and 113 having lower curing shrinkage rates than the bonding member 110 for fixation are arranged between the seal member 105 and external connection member 108 and the adhesive 110 is prevented from sticking on at least an end of the substrate 102 on the extension part side or the seal member on the extension part side.
