The unit for guiding an air stream through a duct at a heating or ventilating device for the passenger cabin of a vehicle is fitted with a movable flap (1, 2) for a control of the flow. The flap (1, 2) is designed in a rectangular shape with rounded corners and has a specifically shaped cross section. Several linear elevations are parallel positioned on the surface of the flap. The corners of the elevations can be bent in a more or less inclined angle depending on the use of the flap.
