An acid-modified polyolefin resin for glass fiber treatment in which (1) the amount of components extractable with boiling methyl ethyl ketone is 8 mass% or smaller, (2) the number-average molecular weight (Mn) as determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is 6,000-48,000, and (3) the amount of the acid which has added, as determined by Fourier transfer-infrared spectroscopy, is 0.1-12 mass%; surface-treated glass fibers; long-fiber-reinforced polyolefin resin pellets; and a molded article.
