An elastically deformable sealing ring (6) is interposed between front face of piston (2) and annular projection of piston (5), both pistons being arranged in linearly displaceable manner. The sealing ring is squeezed and pressed against the inner wall of cylinder (1) in which the pistons move when movable piece of furniture is operated.
