PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a classification of an input I/F by which data is input or the input data, and to select either of a built-in storage or an external storage in response to the classification to accumulate the input data, in a data accumulation terminal connectible to the external storage via a network. SOLUTION: The data accumulation terminal 10 is provided with a plurality of input I/F parts 12 for inputting the data, the built-in storage 11 for accumulating the input data, a network I/F part 17 connected to the external storage via the network, an identification information addition part 15, and a storage selection part 16. The data accumulation terminal 10 determines the classification (tuner, USB I/F, or the like) of the input I/F part 12 input with the data, or the classification (broadcasting signal, other than it, or the like) of the input data, adds identification information to the input data in response to the determined classification, and selects either of the built-in storage 11 or the external storage, based on the identification information, to accumulate the input data.
