PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of a gas turbine by making moving blade tip clearance at a time of rated load operation small while avoiding rubbing in a middle of start and securing reliability of the gas turbine. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for supplying coolant for the gas turbine provided with a compressor 2 compressing working fluid, a combustor 7 mixing fuel with working fluid and burning the same, and a turbine 1 rotated and driven by combustion gas from the combustor 7 and provided with a cooling system supplying coolant to cool stationary blade 30 provided in a casing of the turbine 1. Compressed air from the compressor 2 is supplied to the stationary blade 30 through one of plurality of the cooling systems branched in an upstream side in a coolant circulation direction, and high temperature coolant is supplied to the stationary blade 30 through another system of a plurality of branched cooling systems at a time of start of the gas turbine.
