APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING HYDRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent attachment of drops of water onto an inner wall of a reaction tank and production and growth of hydrate on the inner wall, in a hydrate-producing apparatus for jetting water into the reaction tank and introducing natural gas. SOLUTION: A nozzle 14 is installed in the upper part of the reaction tank 12 and cooled water from a water circulation line 18 is fed to the nozzle 14 and water is jetted into the reaction tank 12. A cooled natural gas is fed from a natural gas feed line 22 to an introduction pipe 32 of the reaction tank 12. A coated layer 42 composed of a fluororesin is formed on the inner water of a side wall part 12B of the reaction tank 12. Since the coated layer 42 has low thermal conductivity and water-repelling property, drops of water hardly attach onto the coated layer 42 when water is jetted from the nozzle 14. Since drops of water of the coated layer 42 are hardly cooled by low-temperature water stored in the bottom 12A of the reaction tank 12, production and growth of the hydrate on the side wall part 12B can be prevented.
