PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide crystalline polyester which is superior in low-temperature fixability and durability, as a binder resin for toner, and which permits successive reproduction of a superior image without causing deterioration in image quality even when the successive printing is performed by a high-speed machine, and to provide the toner including the crystalline polyester. SOLUTION: The crystalline polyester for the toner obtained by polymerizing a raw material monomer under the existence of a wax has a number-average molecular weight of 3,000-10,000 and a weight-average molecular weight of 150,000-8,000,000.
