PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case construction of an electronic equipment where a first case is provided with an engagement hook protruding from the inner side surface while a second case is provided with an engagement rib comprising a hole which extends as a thin plate from the side surface, and in which the engagement hook is inserted, and an original state is easily restored even if the engagement hook disengages from the hole when the second case is applied with an external force. SOLUTION: After a sheet-like member 7 is inserted in a hole 4, an engagement hook 2 is inserted in the hole 4, so that a part of the sheet-like member 7 is positioned between the inside of a first case 1a of an engagement rib 3 and a corresponding edge of the hole 4.
