PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter-mounting part equipped with a changeover mechanism without causing instantaneous interruption of power, when an adapter for inputting commercial power is disconnected and a main power circuit is changed over to a substitutional power circuit by relay. SOLUTION: This adapter-mounting part is so structured that when an insertion opening 31 of the adapter 3 is connected to a reception opening 21 of a movable part 2, an action member 6, formed on the adapter 3 acts on a changeover means 4 of a base part 1 to bring the substitutional power circuit to an off-state; when the force in an extracting direction is applied to the adapter 3 from this state, the action on the changeover means 4 of the base part 1 by the action member 6 is eliminated with the adapter 3 and the movable part 2 kept in a connected state, and the movable part 2 moves, with respect to the elastic force of an elastic member 5, in the extraction direction of the adapter 3 up to a position causing substitutional power circuit to go into the on-state.
