PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette on which information, corresponding to each specimen holding section can be written and in which a pile section, formed when mutually piled on other cassettes, will not attached tightly thereto. SOLUTION: The cassette C has a cassette body 1 and a lid body 2, and the cassette body 1 has top face plates 11 at its two sections. The top face plate 11 has a plurality of specimen-accommodating sections 14, and a sub-information writing section 12, which is made up of an inclined plane, is disposed on the outside. A lid-setting section 112 for setting the lid body 2 is formed inside a boundary line 111, which is the boundary section of the top face plate 11 and the sub-information writing section 12. The lid body 2 has a substrate 20 which can be set to the lid-setting section 112 of the cassette body 1, and the substrate 20 is configured so as not to cover the sub-information writing section 12. Spacers 21, 22 are disposed on the substrate 20 so as to project upwardly, and the substrate 20 has an accommodating lid section 26, on which a projections 262 are formed.
