PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device capable of holding three sliding doors continuously flush in a totally closed state and smoothly opening without the mutual collision of the sliding doors when opened. SOLUTION: The three sliding doors 1 are arranged to be flush in a line in the closed state. A guide mechanism 19 is provided for moving one sliding door 1a toward the other sliding door 1b side to guide the one sliding door 1a to overlap with the front of the other sliding door 1b and moving the center sliding door 1c toward the other sliding door 1b side to guide the center sliding door 1c to overlap with the back of the other sliding door 1b. The guide mechanism 19 is composed of upper runners fitted to the upper right and left of the sliding door 1, and an upper rail 5 for guiding the upper runners in a travelable manner. Recesses 2a with which the runners 21 are engaged in the closed state of the three sliding doors 1 arranged flush in a line are provided at the upper rail 5 to constitute a flush-state closure holding means 2.
