PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method which has no fault in existing direct dyes for dyeing a keratin fiber, in particular, a human keratin fiber, concretely, hair, especially, a direct dyeing method to enable vivid coloring which is considerably robust over continuous shampooing. SOLUTION: A dyeing composition containing a specific disulfide dye, and the method for dyeing human keratin fiber like hair therewith, are provided.
