PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneading screw capable of kneading a powder raw material comprising a self-flowable hydraulic composition or the like and a liquid raw material such as water so as to obtain uniform good slurry properties, a kneader equipped with it, a mixer device equipped with the kneader, and a kneaded matter manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The kneading screw is a mixer screw 10 equipped with a shaft member 10a and a plurality of the blades formed to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft member 10a and constituted so that the kneaded matter is transferred to the terminal side of the shaft member 10a from the base end side thereof while kneading the powder raw material and the liquid raw material by rotating the shaft member 10a in a predetermined direction. The plurality of blades include feed blades 10c for feeding the kneaded matter toward the terminal side of the shaft member 10a and return blades 10b for returning the kneaded matter toward the base end side of the shaft member 10a and the ratio of the return blades 10b occupying in the whole of the plurality of the blades is at least 50%.
