APPARATUS FOR HOLDING AND ANCHORING REFRACTORY CONCRETE TYPE LININGS

An anchor apparatus (10) for refractory concrete type linings is disclosed. The apparatus is used as one of a plurality of anchor apparatuses to adhere refractory concrete type linings to the surface of a furnace, pipe or the like. The apparatus includes a cleat member (11) adapted to be fixed to the surface to which the lining is to be applied. A one piece anchor member has a foot portion (16) adapted to be received in the cleat member and at least one ear (15) extending away from the surface to which the lining is to be applied. The foot portion has a deflection (17) therein such that the foot portion has a spring action type grip between the cleat member and the foot portion.
