<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based ink suitably used for inkjet recording without clogging of a nozzle and deflection of a jetting direction, excellent in fluidity and preservation stability, excellent in permeability and drying ability independent of coloring matters and species of paper, giving no blot, having high image density and no strike through and provide a method for inkjet recording using the ink and equipment such as ink cartridge using the ink, an inkjet recorder and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based ink contains a coloring matter, a 9C-diol derivative and a surfactant expressed by general formula (I). In the formula (I), R<SB>1</SB>expresses an 8-22C alkyl, alkenyl or alkylphenyl; M expresses either one selected from alkali metal ions, quaternary ammonium groups, quaternary phosphonium groups and alkanol amines; n expresses 4-21 integer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
