RADIO TAG SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio tag system in which a communication area can be ensured while limiting the number of configuration devices of a system.

SOLUTION: A transmitting section 32 generates an electric signal of radio frequency in response to a control signal from a control section 30. The electric signal is converted into an optical analog signal at an electrooptical converting section 36 and distributed at a multiplexing/demultiplexing section 42 before reaching an antenna section 80.1 while propagating on an optical fiber 6.1. It is converted into a radio signal at a photoelectric converting section 22 and radiated through an antenna element 20. A radio tag 10 existing in a communication area transmits a radio signal according to its own information. The radio signal received by the antenna element 20 is converted into optical analog signal at an electrooptical converting section 24 before reaching a radio section 102 while propagating on the optical fiber 6.1. Furthermore, it is converted into an electric signal of radio frequency at a photoelectric converting section 38 and demodulated into a data signal at a receiving section 34 before being delivered to the control section 30.
