<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit and a memory card reader/writer using it capable of detecting a part connected to the outside for a desired function easily at a low cost without mounting any additional externally installed circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A result determination circuit 4 determines whether a peripheral part 10 is connected to an input/output terminal io and a resistor 11 is connected between a power supply voltage Vdd and the input/output terminal io or not according to a voltage of the input/output terminal io given when an NMOS transistor 23 is turned on by a connection control circuit 6, and the determination result is held in a result holding circuit 5 when the NMOS transistor 23 is turned on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
