<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for managing the access history of a data carrier including a case where the carrier is illegally accessed. <P>SOLUTION: This system of managing the access history of a data carrier is provided with at least one communication terminal device 1 mounted with at least one data carrier 3a or 3b for contactlessly reading and/or writing data, and a means 17 for acquiring position information and time information; and a management server 61 provided with a database 62 for storing the access to the data carrier 3a or 3b. If an external device 4 accesses the data carriers 3a or 3b; the communication terminal device 1 acquires the accessed time information and the position information of the communication terminal device 1 at the time point of accessing and transmits the time information and the position information to the management server 61 via communication networks 5, 6, and the management sensor 61 updates the database 62 on the basis of the time information and the position information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
