<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly detect the presence/absence of a metallic piece on paper and an existing position of the metallic piece. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises an energizing member 630 energizing a pair of rollers to press against a paper passing inspecting portion structured to pass paper between the rollers in a copy machine 1 toward each other; a conductive first roller 610 which is divided into a pluralitty of parts corresponding to the width of passed paper, and wherein the parts are insulated by insulating portion 616, from each other; and a conductive second roller 620 making a pair with the first roller 610; and conduction measuring means disposed in each part 611 to 615 of the first roller 610, and measuring conduction with the second roller 620 about each part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
