PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic, pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which imparts an antistatic property to a non-antistatic adherend upon peeling, causes reduced staining of an adherend and is excellent in adhesion reliability, and antistatic, pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets and a surface protecting film using the same. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises a (meth)acrylic polymer and an alkali metal salt, wherein the (meth)acrylic polymer comprises, as a monomer component, 5-100 wt.% (meth)acrylic acid alkylene oxide adduct, 0-95 wt.% (meth)acrylic monomer having a 1-14C alkyl group other than the adduct and 0-95 wt.% other polymerizable monomer.
