PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-shaped nail enamel remover capable of gelatinizing a large amount of organic solvents, and providing an image mild to the nail and moist feeling. SOLUTION: This gel-shaped nail enamel remover contains (A) the organic solvents, (B) a thickener comprising a microgel obtained by dissolving a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer in a dispersed phase and radically polymerizing the monomer in the dispersed phase in a composition comprising an organic solvent or an oil component as a dispersion medium, and water as the dispersed phase, and (C) the water.
