A fitting device for use in fitting golf putters to users, the fitting device comprising: a head assembly which comprises a head unit which comprises a head member which represents a putting head of a golf putter; and a shaft assembly which comprises a shaft which is connected to the head assembly and a grip unit by which a user grips the fitting device, wherein the shaft assembly is movably connected to the head assembly, such as to allow for configuration of the shaft assembly relative to the head member in fitting a golf putter to a user.
