The device has femoral and tibial inserts (8A, 10A) with condylar and tibial plate support surfaces (20A, 24A) for a femoral or tibial implant. A unit (30A) applies predetermined intensity distraction force, between the inserts even if the kneecap is in place or not. A maintaining unit maintains tensioning of the knee during rotation of the knee joint for different rotation angles. |
