The opening and closing mechanism, comprising two levers (1, 2) connected at one end by a pivot (3), has the latter fitted with a lock that enables the shutter or window (15) to be fixed in at least five different angular positions. The other end of each lever is pivoted to a right-angled bracket on the shutter/window or wall (14), with the pivot axes parallel to that of the pivot connecting the levers. The different angular positions are set by stops formed by a plate with balls between the pivoted ends of the two levers, which have corresponding recesses in their facing surfaces. The locking force is provided by a standard handle (11). |
