<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter quality inspection device which appropriately performs a qualitative inspection of printed matter by preventing an air blast from affecting the printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises an illumination means which illuminates the printed matter 1 printed by sheet printing equipment on an impression cylinder 2, a photographing means 4 which detects a reflected light generated by the printed matter 1 from an illuminating light of the illumination means, and loads image information from the printed matter 1, and an airjet means 13 which jets an air to the impression cylinder 2. That is, the device checks an abnormality of the printed matter 1 in-line based on image information.
