<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing small-sized glassware which are small in size, thin in thickness, chamfered, and free from fragmentation and cracking. <P>SOLUTION: A glass raw material is processed to obtain a glass plate having an area of≥15 mm square and the glass plate is chamfered and polished so as to obtain a mirror finished surface. The polished glass plate is washed and dried and a protective film is formed on the surface of the glass plate. Then, the glass plate is cut to a small-sized glass plate having a size of a final product, which is chamfered and the protective film is removed, washed, and dried to obtain a small-sized glassware. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
