<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that in the constitution of a spinning apparatus and its operation method, in a conventional method, when a yarn is cut by a cutter according to the detection of a yarn defect of a yarn clearer, the end part of the yarn formed by the cutting is sprung out with great force, and entangled with another member and incorrect pick finding at the end part of the yarn occurs. <P>SOLUTION: Spinning is stopped by stopping action of an air spinning nozzle 19 for twisting a plurality of fibers to form a spun yarn 10 instead of cutting the yarn by a cutter and an end part 10e in a state of a twistless fiber bundle assembly is formed in the spun yarn 10.
