<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide and a lighting device each having excellent productivity while enhancing light incidence efficiency and having a light incident surface small in dependency on a wavelength and an incident angle, in relation to a light guide and the lighting device for illuminating a light reception type electronic display panel such as a print display panel or a liquid crystal display panel for illuminating predetermined information by, for instance, transmitting or shading light. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting device is provided with this light guide 2 formed of a translucent material, and light sources 1 for making light incident on the light guide; the light guide 2 is provided with the light incident surfaces 23 for introducing light from the light sources 1; and a moth-eye structure part 26 comprising a plurality of protrusions 261 collectively formed at intervals smaller than the wavelengths of ultraviolet light and visible light is formed in a partial range R of each light incident surface 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
