<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can set setting conditions related to an image process from condition data which is received from an external device without performing a complicated key operation. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 30 of a PCL controller 3 forms image data for image outputting by executing a command analyzing process for printing data which is received through a communication network N and stored in a spooler 34. The control section 30 transfers condition information acquired from the data to a device main body 1 when a command which indicates the condition data is sensed in the data being read from the spooler 34. A control section 10 of the device main body 1 makes setting content indicated by the acquired condition information be housed in a predetermined region of a RAM 12 which is set according to setting items when the condition information is acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
