<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressure fluctuation (intake pulsation) in a piston type compressor further. <P>SOLUTION: A first dynamic vibration absorber 39 is provided in a rotary valve 25 and a second dynamic vibration absorber 40 is provided in a rear housing 13. A spool 34 of the first dynamic vibration absorber 39 variably controls passage section area of a communication hole 37 which is a part of the intake passage. A spool 42 of the second dynamic vibration absorber 40 variably controls passage section area of a valve hole 411 which is a part of the intake passage.
