<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which has a high color reproducibility by reducing color deviation (color difference) between a subject and a photographic image. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter is used together with an imaging device, and the number of spectral sensitivity distributions obtained on the basis of the color filter is 4 or more. Spectral sensitivity distributions are obtained by approximation of a reference spectral distribution and modulated spectral distributions obtained by changing the reference spectral distribution, and the reference spectral distribution can be approximated≥70% by using first, second, and third main component vectors of the spectral sensitivity distributions. Distribution function components which are included in the modulated spectral distributions and are orthogonal to the reference spectral distribution can be approximated≥20% by fourth main component vectors of the spectral sensitivity distributions and can be approximated≥50% by using fourth and fifth main component vectors of the spectral sensitivity distributions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
