<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hydroponics consisting of extremely small-scale facilities without the need of special expensive facilities and equipments, and enabling performing agriculture without having restriction of a place or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The hydroponics are such that cultivation containers holding water-retaining materials are piled up in many stairs, and water is supplied with a pump to the upper cultivation containers and to cultivation containers placed in the lower part one by one.
