<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic reaction type heater capable of restraining heat exchange performance in a heat exchange part from getting worse by depositing of condensate on a surface of a downstream portion 31a of a fin 31. <P>SOLUTION: This catalytic reaction type heater is provided with a catalytic reaction part for bringing a supplied gas mixture of fuel and air into catalytic reaction, and a heat exchange part 30 having tubes 32 with a heating medium flowing therethrough, and the fins 31 arranged adjacent to the tubes 32 and contacting with reaction gas after the catalytic reaction, and for heat-exchanging the reaction gas with the heating medium via the fins 31 and the tubes 32, and heats the heating medium with heat generated by the catalytic reaction in a catalytic reaction part 20. In the catalytic reaction type heater, a water repellent coating film 33 is formed at least in the downstream portion 31a along a flowing direction of the reaction gas flowing on the each fin 31, out of the surface of the each fin 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
